My name is Sviatlana Fedzianiova, and I am a professional textile decorator and visualizer with over 20 years of experience in the industry. Over this time, I have journeyed from creating textile decorations to developing techniques that help clients visualize their future interior designs. Today, I would like to share my unique approach to working with fabrics and introduce you to the courses I’ve created for anyone looking to master this skill.
My Journey in the World of Textile Decoration
I began as a textile decorator, working with various materials, textures, and patterns. Over time, I noticed that many of my clients struggled to imagine how their chosen fabrics would look in their interiors. This made decision-making difficult and often led to the need for revisions. I searched for a solution that would allow me to visually demonstrate future textile solutions to my clients.
Creating Visualizations in Procreate
After extensive searching and experimentation, I found the perfect tool—Procreate. This powerful graphic editor allowed me to create realistic visualizations of fabrics in interiors. Now, I can not only show clients how their future interior will look but also account for all the details: textures, pattern repetition, accessories, and selecting the right fabrics for specific models.
These visualizations greatly simplify the decision-making process for my clients. They can literally "see" their new curtains, upholstery, or other textile elements in the interior even before they make a purchase. This helps avoid misunderstandings and saves time for both the clients and me.
